Lotus pool

Our life can easily be akin to a lotus flower, which grows out of the dirt and mud, but has immense grace, beauty and majesty.

The development of a lotus is beautiful from the beginning till the end. All petals of consciousness manifest themselves alike in it.

If one is to behold a withering pistil, revealed by the drooping petals, there are seeds of the future growth concealed in there.

Even so our life, if nurtured by the spiritual knowledge, contains a charge of rebirths leading to the light.
